But with wowhead it’s says based on the ptr testing, class x is the easiest. Darthcarnage-thrall December 12, 2021, 6:53pm 3. According to Wowhead, it’s between Monk, Demon Hunter, and Warrior tanks. I found the brm to be harder than prot pala. But just curious what tank do you think is the easiest for the mage tower Doness-kargath (Doness) December 12, 2021, 6:44pm 2. People say prot pala is hard, but I found holy priest to be be the hardest out of the 10 classes I've completed (other healing specs I did it on 1-3 tries at 930~ while my holy priest had close to 30-40 tries at 936). Healing from bulwark + protector is plenty, use the healing shperes freely, even if you have to just interrupt the drain. If you get the chance, let velen dps, he can do some sick dps (around 200k) just make sure to go pick up a sphere after he drops to 30% and pick up the adds else he will die.įor phase 2 just create a weak aura for the interrupt as that will most likely be the only thing to cause a wipe. Clear them and then just sit around the aura until your stacks drop throwing judgments and shield on the boss. Go after the eyes only after you get 4-5 stacks on you. You should be able to finish p1 with just 2 big adds. It does have a tighter dps check compared to the other tanks though.
I did it few weeks ago with just the crucible legendary at 928ilvl (I had just leveled it to 110 week before so didnt even get the full order hall traits for 2nd legendary). Get the bear tartare for movement speed and grab yourself a few goblin gliders if needed. Blinding Light can be used to CC Varis in phase 1 if needed. Keep you Ancient Kings for the end.įor the talents I went 2132132. Keep Freedom for when he jumps on you with the green pool, use orbs when he's about to annihilate or just when you feel like you're gonna die.
Phase 2 try to stay somewhat in the middle so you're near orbs. Phase 1 get like 7 stacks maximum of Varis' aura, kill the eyes when they spawn, pop Consecration under Velen just before the adds spawn so they get to you, use your avenger's shield on Varis then have it cleave on the elementals. If you kill Varis fast enough you'll only have one or two infernals in the second phase which is much easier to deal with.
Nowadays it's kind of the opposite, especially as a paladin infernals in phase 2 will only be an annoyance because of the knockbacks. I was ilvl 940 and had to learn every single thing pally tanks can do. It was the hardest thing i ever did in this game. I brought my pally tank in there and got stomped into oblivion.
When the mage tower came out i wanted the pally skin so bad. Lots of infernals, not a lot of gear so Kruul used to hit HARD with a lot of Annihilation stacks, etc. When i did tank it was vengeance dh since it played like a dps. The challenge used to be hard because of phase 2. If I have any advice it would be to pop all your cooldowns including drums in the first phase. Also I had around 945 ilvl so a bit higher than you, but you should manage it without too much trouble. With the First Avenger talent it pretty much destroys literally all adds in the encouter, small elementals, eyes, etc. You have something that I didn't have when I did it: the legendary legs. Didn't get any in that area so i was like "wtf" but then i saw a big rocky guy running and bingo.Tank main, completed the pally one like two weeks ago. I looked here on allahazam and it said it was a level 71 humanoid so i was tracking humanoids. I had trouble finding him at first though. My pet however was still at 96% HP so killing the adds afterwards was pretty easy aswell. Throughout the month of December, and every six-or-so months afterwards, the Mage.
I finish the boss with me at 76% HP and like 35% mana. WoW at Night 7.6K subscribers Legion Timewalking and the Mage Tower were reintroduced to the game in Patch 9.1.5. Now the big one should be almost down and just finish the job. Without a local guide one could get lost and end up somewhere they would wish they hadn't. Then, when the third one comes you just feign death. Dominating the center of the main square is the Watchtower. The second one you can let bash on you and be a small tank. Start normal shot rotation = steady shot + auto shot.Īnd thats all there is to it. He is only a lvl 67 elite so that wasn't realy that difficult. Comment by AllakhazamPretty easy to solo as a lvl 69 hunter.
